What I'm Taking To Disney

Image
This Friday, I’m heading to Disneyland Paris for my birthday trip (booked as a surprise for me by my wonderful girlfriend ), so naturally I thought this week’s blog post should focus on what I’m taking to Disney with me. For the past couple of months, this side of the pond has been having crazy weather changes and we have been experiencing arctic conditions; even at this time of the year. Just last week, the weather app on my phone was telling me that we would be getting highs of just 2 – 3 degrees Celsius and lows of roughly -6 whilst in Disney. A week later and the temperatures are set to rise this weekend. This is obviously good news but also means my outfits for the weekend have changed several times; hence why these aren’t included in this post. As I’ve previously mentioned, I always like to buy Disney accessories prior to a trip so I’m not breaking the bank whilst there; particularly customised ears. As I’m only there for three days this trip, I’ve chosen to take three

5 Things I Want To Experience At Disneyland Paris

Next weekend will mark my 7 th trip to Disneyland Paris, and this will be a trip for my birthday so I’m naturally even more excited than usual. Obviously with having been numerous times; there’s been a lot I’ve already experienced. However, as I’ve previously discussed, I always do Disneyland Paris on a budget and there are quite a few things I’m yet to experience so I thought I would take the opportunity to share them with you. I wonder if anyone can guess what my number one will be? 5. Last One Out of The Park This is something that I’ve seen multiple people do and it’s a renown thing to get a photo once the Park is empty at the end of the night. For a number of reasons – ranging from being too tired or cold – I have yet to make this happen but it is something I am determined to fulfil on my upcoming birthday trip. The idea of being one of the last people to leave Disneyland Paris and to be able to take a moment to sit down on Main Street and soak in the magic of the park w

Disneyland Paris On a Low Budget - My Top Five Tips

Organising your first Disneyland Paris trip can be quite daunting, even more so when you’re having to do the trip on a low budget. Growing up, I never thought that visiting Disneyland would be possible. To me, the idea always seemed so far-fetched because of the price tag that comes with it. However, in 2016, having a disposable income and having discovered that a Disneyland Paris trip is possible even when on a budget; I took the plunge and booked my very first trip. Now, every trip I go on, is a budget trip. For me, this means I’m able to go more often. As I know it can all be quite overwhelming, I have put together a list of what I think my top five tips would be for doing DLP on a lower budget. As a disclaimer, I’m in no way an “expert” – just a Disney lover wanting to help others out if I can. 5. Take water bottles This one is handy for not only saving money but also ensuring that you stay hydrated. Temperatures can soar up to 40 degrees Celsius in the warmer months, but no

Disney at Home

With Disney being such an important part of my life, and with frequent visits to Disneyland Paris, it’s only natural that Disney is incorporated into various aspects of my home life. In October of last year, I moved into my own flat with my girlfriend and our best friend. Having a whole place to ourselves meant we were free to furnish it how we please, and obviously that had to include some Disney magic sprinkled around the flat. Our living room is home to our beautiful dark wood bookcase, in which the middle shelf is home to our growing collection of shiny o-ring DVDs. Thus far, we have 32 in our collection that sit underneath a bed of Tsum Tsums. On top of the bookcase sits two of my favourite purchases we’ve made whilst in Disneyland Paris: our working Cogsworth and Lumiere figurines. These two items are quite pricey so we saved up for them and purchased both on two separate DLP trips with the aid of our Annual Pass discounts. Alongside them sits our Mrs Potts moneybox and
