DLP Halloween Trip Report

Before I start – Happy Halloween! Halloween season may now be coming to an end but that doesn’t mean I’m not still dying (see what I did there?) to share my thoughts and favourite things about Disneyland Paris’ 2018 Halloween season. If you read my post before my Halloween trip , you would know the things that I was looking forward to during the season. It is honestly safe to say that I had the best time ever this trip, and even though the really high temperatures took us by surprise (hello Sunday afternoon trip to Primark in Val D’Europe to buy lighter clothing); we still enjoyed every spooky second of the trip. Characters As I mentioned in my previous post, the character meets were something I was incredibly excited for, and its safe to say that it was perhaps the highlight of this Halloween trip. We met: Jack Skellington (whilst I was bounding as Sally in a beautiful dress made by KingdomCraftedCo and ears by RosesAndThornsEars – all of which he’d said he’d have to t

5 Things I'm Looking Forward To During Disneyland Paris' Halloween Season

Halloween is one of my favourite times of the year. Aside from the cold weather, there’s pumpkins and all things spooky galore; and with all the orange everywhere, it really brings some colour into the dullness that the cold weather presents you with. In 2016, I visited Disneyland Paris for the first time. I visited three times in that year and my third visit was during Halloween season. Whilst I already loved Halloween, DLP made me fall even more in love with the season. Disney + Halloween? Of course, I was going to be hooked. So this weekend, I’ll be back in the spooky magic and I couldn’t be more excited. The 1 st October marked the start of Disneyland’s Halloween season and if you’re anything like me, you also would have been glued to social media, eagerly awaiting photos, videos and tweets all about everything DLP have in store for

A lot of the time I just tend to simply reply, ‘because it makes me happy’ and whilst that’s obviously true, I thought I’d use this as motivation to write a blog post tackling exactly Why Visiting Disney Means a Lot To Me. Disney has always meant a lot to me from when I was a young child. Whether it was when I was a baby that refused to eat her lunch unless 101 Dalmatians was on TV or as a teenager that loved visiting the old style Disney Store whenever she could. Disney has always been so special to me so it only makes sense that visiting the Disney Parks would mean a lot to me also. My Happy Place As I said, when people ask me why I go to Disneyland Paris so often, I tend to reply ‘because it makes me happy’, and this is true. People always refer to Disney as ‘the happiest place on earth’ and as cheesy as it may sound (but
