Small Business Recommendations To Shop At This Christmas

Financially, times are even harder than usual for most right now and with Christmas fast approaching, shopping for the festive season seems even more challenging this year, particularly because of the lockdown England are in until the beginning of December.

Inspired by my friend Molly who recently published a blog post supporting small businesses, which you can read here, I decided to compile a list of small businesses that I have bought from this year that I think you should all look at for Christmas – whether you’re after stocking fillers or presents for under the tree, these magical small businesses will have you covered.

EnchantedCozyCo

If you follow me on Instagram (@magicallypriy), then you’ll definitely have seen me mention this lovely lady and her wonderful, crocheted creations. Whether it’s hot or cold, cozies are always something good to have on hand, particularly if you’re like me and like to have a hot chocolate or an iced drink in the summer. From Disney themed cozies to Harry Potter, Robynne creates beautiful cozies that will protect your hands from getting burnt/the condensation as well as bringing a touch of magic to your cup. EnchantedCozyCo reopens this Sunday at 7pm (GMT) so make sure to set your reminders and, as I am a brand rep for this particular small business, you can use code PRIYENCHANTED10 at checkout for 10% off your order.

TheBewbClub

You know when you don’t realise you need something until you see it? Well, that’s exactly how I felt when I was introduced to Catherine’s small business. I never knew I needed a boob themed pot but in reality, I’d just been missing out. These handmade pots are perfect to hold fake plants (because you can never have too many of those), make up brushes, stationary or, like us, fairylights! With a diverse range of style choices, you’re spoilt for choice from Catherine’s handmade creations. These will make the perfect Christmas gift either to yourself or to someone you know who would appreciate the beauty of one of these pots which are aesthetically perfect and convenient in their many uses. Follow TheBewbClub on Instagram for updates about when you can grab one of these for yourself!

RosesAndThornsEars

From Disney themed ears, hats, berets and more, these lovely girls create the most perfect Disney accessories which can be used in every day life and also in the parks once the magic welcomes us back. I have a pair of ears, a beret and two boater hats from this small business all with a Disney twist to them and I love them so much. The accessories are all comfortable, stylish and there are so many different variations to choose from so whether you’re wanting something for yourself or for the Disney style person in your life – RosesAndThornsEars have you covered! With a current turnaround time of 3-4 weeks, now is the perfect time to peruse their Etsy shop for a Christmas treat.

MusicalCraftsAndMore

I am so lucky in that I have so many talented friends, including my lovely friend Soph who happens to make the prettiest fabric crafted goodies. Offering the cutest designs, ranging from Disney to pop culture to cute animals, MusicalCraftsAndMore offers scrunchies, face masks, pom pom paper clips and zip pouches – all of which make perfect Christmas/secret santa gifts or even stocking fillers for your loved ones. I was kindly gifted a few products, including a Frozen themed scrunchie, a Disney princesses themed face mask and a couple of cute zip pouches – all of which I have managed to find great use from. These perfectly crafted items can be purchased from the MusicalCraftsAndMore  etsy and I highly recommend you snap up a few of these cute crafted items asap.

(All items are featured in the photo below)

There are so many small businesses out there offering affordable, lovingly crafted items and that could use our support. Obviously, it’s hard to financially support everyone, particularly if you’re struggling with money yourself but even the simple act of liking their posts on Instagram, leaving an encouraging comment or sharing their pages goes a long way. So wherever we can in our lives, let’s shop small and support each other.
