Blogmas Day Eight - Five Disney Christmas Films You Must Watch

Christmas films are obviously one of the best ways to get into the festive spirit and to make it even better? Disney Christmas films. For today’s Blogmas, I thought I would talk you through five Disney Christmas films you should watch this season.

Nightmare Before Christmas

Okay so it’s the age old controversial argument. ‘Is Nightmare Before Christmas a Halloween or Christmas film?’ Well I say it’s both. Why should it be limited to one of the holidays when you can join Jack and Sally on their adventures throughout Halloween and Christmas? Plus, if you don’t watch it during Christmas then you wouldn’t get to celebrate with Sandy Claws! It’s the perfect film for people who love both Halloween and Christmas and that’s definitely never a bad thing.

Olaf’s Frozen Adventure

This is perhaps the cutest and most heartwarming 20 odd minutes you’ll spend in your life. Once Olaf realises Anna and Elsa don’t have any Christmas traditions of their own; he goes on an adventure to try and get them a tradition. However, this is a Disney film so it wouldn’t be without it’s catchy songs, hiccups along the way and of course; the most wonderful and heartwarming ending ever. Despite only being a short - you must have this film on your Disney Christmas watch list!

Mickey’s Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol (as I mentioned in my Blogmas Day Five post) is obviously something that can’t be missed out of your Christmas viewing list. Thankfully, Disney have you covered so you can enjoy both Disney characters and A Christmas Carol in one with the creation of Mickey’s Christmas Carol. With our favourite faces (Scrooge McDuck, Donald, Mickey etc) bringing to life the morality tale of Christmas - what’s not to love about Mickey’s Christmas Carol?

Beauty and the Beast: Enchanted Christmas

In this Christmas special, we get to return to visit Belle, Beast, Chip and our other friends as we’re whisked back in time for an enchanting Christmas tale. The film is just over an hour long and is packed full of beautiful songs, familiar faces and lots of Christmas goodness. It wouldn’t be without it’s difficulties and Forte who is adamant on putting a stop to Belle and Beast’s budding relationship and to the Christmas joy that Belle wishes to spread in the castle.

The Santa Clause Films

Tim Allen as Santa. The North Pole. An array of legendary figures. You really can’t go wrong with The Santa Clause films during Christmas time. And yes I mean all three of the films. From number one when Scott becomes Santa, number two where Santa needs to find his Mrs Claus and of course number three - bringing the in laws to the North Pole as well as facing Jack Frost. The Santa Clause trilogy are the perfect family Christmas films and personally, I love to watch them every year during Christmas.

I love Disney Christmas movies - as you can probably tell. Which of these is your favourite Disney Christmas films? Have I left any out that you love? Let me know!
