Paris/DLP October 2019 - Trip Report: Day Three

Just like that, we’re onto our third and final day which also means my final trip report. This was my first time doing trip reports and I really enjoyed doing them!
The night before, we decided that we’d try and make this day as good as possible. We came up with a plan to try and tackle the problems we faced the day before and just agreed that we’d take everything as it came and enjoy ourselves as it was our last day.

So, suitcases in tow, Jade and I set off to Disneyland Park for Extra Magic Time. Thankfully, we didn’t have to wait long for the train and we were able to be there for gate opening. We dropped our cases off in guest storage and then headed straight to the ticket office to buy Molly’s ticket. This made life so much easier. We used the extra magic time to go on Big Thunder Mountain, take some empty park photos and then when Molly arrived after 9, we gave her the ticket and once she was allowed onto Main Street, we queued to meet Stitch. Thankfully his queue wasn’t too long so it wasn’t long before I was reunited with my favourite blue abomination. After this, we got some more castle photos and then headed to Buzz Lightyear’s Laser Blast as it was a short queue, as well as Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups and we also paid a visit to the dragon under the castle.

On this day, Molly was Disney Bounding as the Cheshire Cat so once we were done, we went to queue to meet him and then after a super cute meet – we went to meet Maleficent. She was not impressed with the fact that I was dressed so brightly in a colourful outfit – it made for a really fun meet. After we left Maleficent’s queue, we spotted Tweedledee and Tweedledum and the White Rabbit heading over for a meet so we joined the short queue for their meet and then headed to our fastpasses for Peter Pan’s Flight – something we always enjoy going on and wrapped the afternoon by going on Molly Brown for a relaxed boat ride around Frontierland.

After some more strolling around the park and a stop for food, we sat down and waited for Parade. I always love watching the parade to see the different floats and for all the different character interactions. We also had a perfect view of the Castle during parade which made it even better. It was getting close to the time we had to leave to get our Eurostar from Gare Du Nord, so we used the time we had left to go around the shops and pick up snacks for the journey. Once we were done, we said some tearful goodbyes to Disneyland. It was so emotional because we don’t know when we’ll next be back. After this, we grabbed our cases and then headed to Gare Du Nord and began the long journey home.

So it was a short but very eventful trip. We got a lot done and we had an enjoyable time from exploring Paris to seeing Mamma Mia to having fun in Disneyland. It’s not goodbye DLP, its see you later…
