Blogmas Day One - Welcome To Blogmas

Hello and welcome to Blogmas 2018!

This is the first time I’m ever attempting to do Blogmas and I’m actually excited for it; albeit a bit nervous.

If you’re reading this and wondering ‘What is Blogmas?’, let me explain: The premise is that every day from the 1st December, in the lead up to Christmas, you upload a new blog post every day. Or if you create content for YouTube, its known as ‘Vlogmas’ and one would post a new vlog every day in the lead up to Christmas. The posts will mostly all be Christmas themed, but they won’t all be in Disney themed so I hope you’ll forgive me if you’re just here for the Disney content. This will be quite a big challenge for me and for my blog so hopefully I’m able to do it justice.

It's now the 1st December, which means the Christmas spirit has officially entered our flat and to celebrate, our tree and decorations and festive bedding all took over the flat yesterday and this morning I got to eat the first chocolate from my advent calendar. Nothing beats waking up in the morning, seeing the Christmas tree take pride of place in the living room and then cracking open door 1 and having your first piece of advent calendar chocolate.

We’re all big Christmas lovers in our flat so yesterday evening consisted of my girlfriend and I watching Mamma Mia 2 (not a Christmas film but it’s always time to be a Dancing Queen) and sprinkling the festive cheer around our flat. I finished up the evening with a Lush bath (Using their limited edition Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb) and going to sleep in our cosy Christmas bedding kindly gifted to us.

The start of the season also means I have an excuse to finally wear my ‘Merry Stitchmas’ jumper from Primark whilst snuggled up with a hot chocolate and watching one of my many favourite Christmas films.

Has the festive fever hit your house? If not – when are you putting your tree and decorations up? Let me know below in the comments!
