Blogmas 2019 Day Two - Disney Christmas Home Decorations

Today is the first Monday of December and I don’t know about you guys, but I’m really feeling the cold today. It’s been cold for a while but it’s as though it got to December and the weather decided to get even more bitterly cold and it’s the kind of weather where you literally just want to curl up in bed with a steaming mug of hot chocolate and watch nothing but Christmas films.

For day two of Blogmas, I thought I would share with you some Disney pieces that we have around the flat for Christmas, because would it even be our household if we didn’t combine Disney into the festive celebrations??

Tree Ornaments
One of my favourite parts of getting into the festive spirit is putting up our Christmas tree and decorating it. Over the past few years, we’ve accumulated a small collection of Disney ornaments to adorn our tree. Each year, we’ll buy a new decoration from Shop Disney’s collection as well as picking up one or two baubles or other type of ornament from the likes of Primark.
On one of our first Disneyland Paris trip, we went into the Christmas shop and decided to buy one ornament for our tree to commemorate our trip. If you know us at all, then you’ll know how much we love Peter Pan and we created so many magical memories in Neverland on that trip so of course the ornament we picked was Peter. We’ve had it for a few years now and he always takes pride of place on our tree.
This year, as soon as we saw the collection of Disney baubles that Primark were selling, we knew we had to pick up a couple for ourselves. Naturally, we chose the Neverland and Winnie the Pooh ones. The design on each of them is gorgeous and I love that they come filled with either snow or glitter – making them even more magical.

This year, our choice of ornament from Shop Disney had to, of course, be Frozen related because of the sequel’s recent release. Again, we went for a bauble design and chose this Olaf one pictured below. It’s a beautiful design and we love Olaf so it’s nice to have him/Frozen represented on our tree this year.
I can’t wait to add more Disney themed decorations to our tree as I’m sure there’ll be plenty more over the years!

Stockings
Yep, we’re that couple. We have matching Mickey and Minnie Mouse stockings because obviously we have to be that cute and extra gay. Who doesn’t love it? We bought these adorable stockings from Primark last year and sit nicely on our radiator beside our tree. It breaks away slightly from our colour theme but they’re cute so we can’t really be mad at it.

Christmas Mugs
Okay, so some may say we have too many Disney mugs and to that I say…probably, but I love our mug collection and it’s not our fault when Disney keep bringing out really cute mugs that we simply must have. Last year, for example, Shop Disney brought out these Christmas mugs and how could we resist?? Firstly, one of them has Stitch on it so obviously I was going to get it and then the other has such a classic Disney design on it whilst spreading Christmas joy so they were clearly necessary purchases. We used them all of the festive season last year and we’re doing the same again this year!

Have you got any Disney Christmas pieces around your home? Let me know and share some photos! I’d love to see them.
