 Financially, times are even harder than usual for most right now and with Christmas fast approaching, shopping for the festive season seems even more challenging this year, particularly because of the lockdown England are in until the beginning of December.

Inspired by my friend Molly who recently published a blog post supporting small businesses, which you can read here, I decided to compile a list of small businesses that I have bought from this year that I think you should all look at for Christmas – whether you’re after stocking fillers or presents for under the tree, these magical small businesses will have you covered.

I never knew I needed a boob themed pot but in reality, I’d just been missing out. I am so lucky in that I have so many talented friends, including my lovely friend Soph who happens to make the prettiest fabric crafted goodies.  There are so many small businesses out there offering affordable, lovingly crafted items and that could use our support. Obviously, it’s hard to financially support everyone, particularly if you’re struggling with money yourself but even the simple act of liking their posts on Instagram, leaving an encouraging comment or sharing their pages goes a long way. So wherever we can in our lives, let’s shop small and support each other.

Why I Love Disneyland Paris

As I’ve mentioned numerous times, I like to visit Disneyland Paris as much as I can throughout the year. I am planning on visiting the other Disney Parks (that’s something for a whole different post) but Disneyland Paris will always be home to me. I love DLP for a whole array of reasons and one of them is most definitely how easy it is to get to my favourite place. Living in London means that it just takes me one tube journey to get to St Pancras to catch the Eurostar. We’ve even been lucky enough to get a direct train to Disney on occasion. Coupling this with staying offsite in the close by Ibis Budget (In Val D’Europe) and having Annual Passes, our visits to Disneyland Paris are more affordable – and leaves us with more money to spend in the shops! My Top 5 Attractions at Disneyland Paris

As I mentioned in my first post, I have been to Disneyland Paris six times, inclusive of my first trip in June 2016. Thus far, it is the only Disney park I have visited but it’s home for me. Without a doubt, my favourite thing to do is meeting characters. However, attractions are a big part of Disneyland and they are definitely a big part of my trips. Most thrill rollercoasters aren’t particularly my thing – although we do try and give at least one a go whenever we can. The rides I focus on in this post are a mixed bag but are all family-friendly. 5. Pirates of the Caribbean One of my favourite things about this attraction is the completely dimmed lighting of the walkaway and décor that surrounds you whilst you queue. This combination adds to the excitement of the upcoming voyage through to the 17 th century.
