Blogmas Day Eleven - Four Films On My Christmas Watch List
Can you believe there’s only fourteen days left until
Christmas? I honestly don’t know where the time has gone. In an earlier Blogmas
post, I shared four Netflix Original Christmas films that I have watched this
month. For today’s post, I thought I would share four of the “classic”
Christmas movies that are on my watch list.
Jack Frost
This movie honestly takes me back to my childhood. I
remember it always used to be on TV on either Christmas Day or Boxing Day. It’s
one of the rare films that everyone in my family loves so we make sure to watch
it every year. After all, what’s better than a talking snowman at Christmas
time?
Home Alone
Is it even Christmas if ‘Home Alone’ isn’t on your Christmas
watch list? Whether you’re watching Kevin left at home over the holidays or him
stranded in New York – nothing says Christmas more than curling up in front of
one of the ‘Home Alone’ films and stuffing your face with chocolate through
your laughter.
The Holiday
Obviously at Christmas you need to watch a romantic comedy
and ‘The Holiday’ is the perfect example of that. It’s not everyone’s cup of
tea but for me, it’s an annual watch during the holidays (see what I did
there?) and it always makes me want to live in a cute and quaint little
cottage.
The Santa Clause Films
Okay so technically (like with ‘Home Alone’) I’m cheating
here because this is actually more than one film, but how can I not include all
of ‘The Santa Clause’ movies on my list?! They’re perfect films for the whole
family to watch during the festive period and really make you feel magical as
you are whisked away to the North Pole.
Obviously, these are just four of the films that I like to
watch over Christmas so there are many others that aren’t on the list but I
still watch. There are also certain Disney films/shorts that are Christmas
themed and I love to watch (Mickey’s Christmas Carol, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure,
Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas etc). Do any of these movies make
it onto your watch list? Let me know!
