5 Reasons Why The Incredibles 2 Was Worth The 14 Year Wait

Friday the 13 th is generally known for its bad luck, and though it was made worse for the UK because Donald Trump was visiting, it also marked the release day of The Incredibles 2. To say this was a highly anticipated “grown ups pushing kids out of the way” esque release would be an understatement. We waited fourteen years and finally the day arrived (roughly a month after the American release, annoyingly) that we were to be reunited with the Parr family where they’d left off in The Incredibles. As with any sequel, there’s always the worries of whether it will live up to the first film or whether it would be overkill. However, Disney/Pixar did not disappoint with this explosive sequel. Coping With Post Disney Blues

Post Disney Blues is something I’m sure we’re all familiar with. That feeling you get just after you’ve left the magic bubble; sort of displaced and not knowing what to do with yourself. It’s the realisation that your day won’t consist of skipping down Main Street, with the fresh sweet smell that comes from the surrounding eateries and shops and soaking in the magic whilst figuring out whether you’ll queue to meet Donald Duck or go to nab a fast pass for your favourite ride. Post Disney Blues are so real so I thought I would put together five things I like to do to help me cope with them. Plan Your Next Trip Whilst this seems like the most obvious solution to coping with missing Disney; it isn’t always feasible to be able to book another trip straight away; especially if you bought more snacks and merchandise than intended (indirecting myself here).
